SMA Mother Daughter Beach Day 2016

The event theme this year will be “Leap of Faith” and we welcome Kelli Clark as our guest speaker. Be sure to wear your class colors (freshman = yellow, sophomores = blue, juniors = green, seniors = red). The optional Friday night events begin at 7:30pm and the schedule is listed below.

Saturday--May 14th (Main Event):

Saturday’s activities start at Surfsand Resort (148 W Gower, Cannon Beach 97110) and include: senior tributes to their mothers, a mother/daughter activity, buffet lunch, guest speaker, sand castle contest, photos, crafts, and a special closing event.

9:00 – 9:30 - Registration, coffee and tea only (breakfast will not be served)

9:30 – 12:30 - Welcome, senior tributes, guest speaker, and activity

12:30 – 1:30 - Buffet lunch (covers all dietary restrictions)

1:30 – 3:00 - Sand castle contest and hang out on the beach

3:00 – 5:00 - Cookies, crafts, senior tributes and grand finale

Friday--May 13th (Optional):

Friday evening activities include bonfire and s’mores on the beach for mothers and daughters, then a social gathering for the mothers and optional activities for daughters.

7:30 pm – Bonfire and s’mores on the beach (mothers and daughters) behind the Surfsand Resort, 148 W Gower, Cannon Beach, OR 97110.

9:00 – 10:30pm - Mother’s social held at beachfront house: 1388 Pacific Street, Cannon Beach. Daughters can swim, enjoy the hot tub, watch movies or just hang out.
